Up in the Clouds
Thursday, March 6th, 2008So I guess today’s comic should go out to Cow and Buffalo creator and fellow Lunchbox Funnies chum, Mike Maihack. It’s got everything he likes best, sandwiches and characters floating in clouds. In fact, I believe Mike holds the unofficial record for longest length of time for a webcomic character to be left floating in the clouds. Cow, Buffalo, Cabbie, and Bronto all got stuck up in the sky on May 20, 2007 and were stuck up there until, well, I guess it was December 16, 2007 when they finally figured out how to get everyone back down. Let’s hope Zip, his shadow, and Li’l Bit have better luck.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah yes! Peanut butter and banana sandwiches. That takes me back about 50 years or so. Used to love those when I was a kid. Haven’t thought of ‘em for years. Now I’m going to have to make one…..or two. No Maia, not insane…….genius!!

I’ll have to admit to preferring peanut butter and honey myself, but peanut butter and banana was Elvis’ favorite (he liked them grilled) which I always figured was a pretty good endorsement. He really liked them so his shadow was a little bigger than Zip’s.
