New Update Schedule
Sunday, March 23rd, 2008Well, I tried to put this off for as long as I could but I’m afraid my schedule has finally caught up with me and I’m going to have to slow down my output for Zip and Li’l Bit to just once a week for the rest of this storyline. I’ve been really busy lately at my real job and it’s getting that time of year when the family starts visiting, and I’ve got to go to weddings, and all kinds of other nastiness. By dropping down to once a week, I’ll make sure I won’t miss any updates. Plus, I’ll be able to take some of the time that I’d been spending on artwork for this story and concentrating a little bit on getting a nice start on writing for the next one, which is starting to take shape for me a little bit. Right now, It’s going to be called The Captain’s Quest, and I’m starting to get really excited about it.
Of course, we’ve still got to get through the rest of The Sky Kayak and let me tell you the best is yet to come.

is zip going to be doing something extraordinary in his “100th” image? Also the captain’s quest sounds exciting I’m already looking forward to it. I’m trying to think of what could be on his woolies then….. just symbols? clues? question marks? hehe I can’t wait to find out

Hey Kelly. Gosh, I haven’t got anything too exciting for the number 100 on Zip’s big woolies. There’s not a lot of room so I just started going through the numbers again. Things start getting exciting though, so hopefully, you won’t even notice as the “odometer” rolls over on Zip’s jammies.
I think The Captain’s Quest will be a little different, at least it’s feeling that way right now. It’s exciting writing it, though. I’m working up some new characters as well, and will try to post a couple of the rough sketches of the Captain for you.
