[...] Zip and Li’l Bit: Trade Loeffler has a lovely, old fashioned style and a quirky sensibility that bring these webcomics into the realm of classic children’s literature. Unfortunately, he has only completed two story arcs and it looks like he won’t be doing any more, but he has kindly left these up for the world to enjoy. Weesh [...]

Glad to see a little bit of Z & LB. We've all missed them.

Also exciting to hear about your new project--published in a big book! Looking forward to the print.

I saw your budda at Angela's funeral yesterday. Sad day, but good to see the whole MV crew. He said you were heading out in the spring. Drop a note when you're in the area--we'd love to hook up.

One last note: My wife comes home the other day and says, "You wouldn't believe! I was having a business lunch, and the person (from LA) was telling me about an animator friend of hers who had named his son Kal-El." So I says, "That's really cool. Great name." And she says, " You know, that's Superman's real name." And I says, "Really? I didn't know that." She goes, "Can you believe he named his kid after Superman? That's crazy." So I just smiled and thought of you :)

Take care, crazy dude.

Oh, this panel is just hilarious! I love the double meaning.

Thanks for letting us know that you're alive. I'll be eagerly waiting for whatever you come up with.

In the long break since I've last been here, I finished my first animated film (about a young boy who dreams of journeying in Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve):

I also found another great story-webcomic, which helps fill the gap that Zip & Li'l Bit left:
